Down with pastels

It's springtime
therefore every single shop on the high street is filled with pastel coloured laura ashely mrs. marple inspired colours and shapes

oh the horror

just because the flowers are all in bloom does not mean the female population needs to start dressing like them

a man is behind this idea

pastels are fade into the background, mute housewife colours, my idea of hell

lets take an example shall we
the colour lilac
to me, this colour looks like a troublesome child ate a purple crayon and then [as you do] expelled it outwards


I use lilac as my example as I feel it is the worst of the lot, a watered down, dulled down colour, why would anyone want to wear a colour that can be described as watered down??
lilac cannot be classic, it can only be dull, mundane and fantastically unoriginal

so this spring if you stride down the street wearing a pastel shade and you find yourself squirted with a water pistol; that'll be me, mocking your disgraceful colour choice darling
